All of our meat is USDA inspected and raised in the most humane way possible.  The pork is pasture raised and fed a special corn mix, blended for DWFarms without additives.  The sheep and cows are grass-fed and supplemented with high quality hay during the winter months.  None of our animals receive any antibiotics or hormones. The sheep are Katahdins, a hair sheep breed, so the meat is sweet without the wooly taste of wool breeds.  The beef comes from Scotch Highland cattle and is grass-fed. The pork is Berkshire, which is the desired pork of chefs in many restaurants.  We also sell fresh, free-range eggs and have a Raw Milk share program.

Raw Milk

Our milk share program is designed for those who enjoy fresh, unadulterated milk to drink and make fresh cheeses and butter.  To be a part of this program, you must purchase a share of the dairy herd, which are Brown Swiss, which has a high butterfat content.  Most people liken the taste to melted vanilla ice cream, that isn't too sweet.

Then you pay a maintenance fee each month and receive a gallon of milk a week. If you want two gallons, you must purchase two shares of the cow.  The cost is $50 for a share, then $20 a month maintenance fee.  The milk is either picked up at the farm or delivered for a fee.
